Goal of Fame is an online e-commerce site which celebrates the most iconic goals in modern football. Alongside the product design, I worked with the GOF team to create a friendly and human-centred brand identity to transform their visual identitiy and their social media channels.
I created a comprehensive new visual identity for the brand, one which both reflected the nostalgia, the festival atmosphere of those unforgettable football memories, as well as running a dynamic sport aesthetics.
I settled on a clean and simple graphic language. I used dark goalmouth green as GOFs hero colour and a bright beige for all interaction states.
Furthermore, I created a unique textures system on their classic football imagery: soft duotones filters, combined with paper texture patterning aimed to give the layouts more character and ultimately, to embrace the power of nostalgia.
